Makette 4790 Ho Sncf coal hopper wagon by Simotra, registration 534002, home station Reims, grey livery ep III. Length 112 mm. Coupling with Nem box extension. Fine detailing with many added parts. 12V DC, metal wheels with burnished finish. Brand new in box, never run. 

Years of construction starting from 1956. Two-axle wagon for transporting coal and coke. 
Up until the 1980s, these wagons made up complete trains, especially in eastern France, but also in the Benelux and Germany. 
Due to the stagnation of steel production in Europe, these wagons are now a threatened species on the rails of France.
