Brassline reference 41001 Ho Paris-Orléans Company steam locomotive, type ex 141 TA, registration 5420, grey livery with black lining. Limited edition of 35 copies, this one is number 25.
According to the manufacturer and the Rail Europ Express test: "axle spacing: 1320/2000/1500/2350mm. Blackened axles, RP 25 code 88 standard.
To summarize the technical features, the locomotive is equipped with a Canon EN 22 motor, with a flywheel.
The buffers are spring-loaded, and the screw couplings are functional.
Constant lighting of the lights with reversal of direction, even the well-detailed cab is lit.
Refinements include an opening smoke box door, functional front walkways, as well as the chimney cap, not to mention opening cab access doors.
The locomotive comes pre-wired from the factory for installing a Zimo MX620 F decoder.
Even though the manual allows for a quick installation (in one of the water tanks)… it’s better to disassemble the machine, to avoid pulling too much on the wires and to be able to hide them well. Two screws are located at the ends, at the bogies, to release the body. Wear gloves to avoid leaving too many fingerprints. Track performance is impeccable, even on a turnout, with points taken at the tip. The wheels are not 'proto 87' standard but very fine. Crank mechanism successful, to scale, running quietly and efficiently, making the machine's movements smooth. Pulling power is more than enough for good operation, max speed of 60 km/h... in scale.
Brand new, never run, unused. Tested, works perfectly, smooth, powerful, quiet, lighting works, with original box in good condition, certificate and purchase invoice from the original owner.
